Durga Leela is a Clinical Ayurvedic and Pancha Karma Specialist, trained at the California College of Ayurveda and also in Kerala, India.  She is the Director of the Ayurveda Program at the Yoga Farm and leads several Ayurvedic Retreats at International Sivananda Yoga Ashrams including Yoga of Recovery for Counselors, Yoga of Recovery Retreat, and Ayurveda and Yoga Wellness Counselors Certification Course.  She is a Sivananda certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher and the resident Ayurvedic practitioner. She has been practicing and teaching various healing modalities and yoga for ten years.

Ambika (Jennifer Andrews) will be assisted by many caring therapists during the Pancha Karma course.  She specializes in the ancient healing Science of Ayurveda PanchaKarma. She has been an Ayurvedic Practioner since 2003 and provides Pancha Karma treatments in Chico, California and Hana, Hawaii. She has studied Nutrition and the healing sciences for many years and has a B.S and M.Ed .in Nutrition. She is also a yoga practitioner and is Certified as an Advanced Sivananda Yoga teacher.

Mukambika (Shipra Maurya) hailed from the culture of India, is a Certified Massage Therapist, Panchakarama Specialist and Ayurvedic Health Practitioner; practicing massage for over 7 years she has assisted teaching the Ayurvedic Body Workshops for 5 years at the California College of Ayurveda.  She has also lead Panchakarma Therapies at an Ayurvedic Retreat Sanctuary in the Sierra Foothills of California while leading Ayurvedic Therapies at the Sivananda Ashram in Grass Valley, Ca.  Mukambika continues her service for the Sivananda Yoga Farm as well as continuing her education of Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda.  She began her journey with Sivananda Ashram in 2007 completing the teacher's training after receiving her degree in Eastern and Western concepts of Health and Healing at San Francisco State University.  Mukambika is currently working on opening her own practice in California.

Javier Lopez(Bharata) is a Sivananda Yoga Teacher and a certified Ayurveda Practitioner, Counselor , Pancha Karma specialist and Marma therapist trained in the US and India. For the last 15 years he has led a private practice and dealt in multiple corporate scenarios leading stress and pain management programs. He is actively providing marma therapy services at the Yoga Farm & centers in California.

Dr. Marc Halpern is the founder and President of the California College of Ayurveda. An internationally respected expert in the field of Ayurveda, Dr. Halpern received the award for Best Ayurvedic Physician from the Indian Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. A. Ramdas. He is a co-founder of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine. He is on the advisory board of Light on Ayurveda Journal in the United States and the Journal of Research and Education in Indian Medicine in Varansi, India. Dr. Halpern has published articles in popular journals and magazines of Ayurveda and Yoga including Yoga Journal and the Journal of the International Association of Yoga Therapy. He is also a contributing writer in several important books on Ayurveda published in the USA and India (Globalizing Ayurveda, Ayurveda: Natures Medicine and Clinicians Guide to Complimentary and Alternative Medicine). Mary Thompson, C.A.S., P.K.S., (Ayurvedacharya), is a graduate of the California College of Ayurveda and senior teacher with certifications as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma Specialist. Mary is a graduate of the first graduating class of the College in 1997. In 2008 she received the Charaka Award for Excellence in Ayurvedic Teaching and was given the title "Ayurvedacharya" (respected teacher of Ayurveda) by Dr. Halpern. She has been an invited speaker at several Ayurvedic conferences and is a founding member and former Secretary of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine. She is also the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization, Everyday Ayurveda. Mary is in private practice in Grass Valley, California.
